We are excited to announce the TEC Grill’s Infrared Grill Tray. As the latest addition to our line of accessories, it adds even more functionality to the grill that does everything!

The Infrared Grill Tray is designed to be used on top of our Infrared Smoker/Roaster, Gator Rack, and Infrared Pizza Oven Rack; you can also place it directly on the grates of your grill. This thinly-slotted tray allows you to cook vegetables, shellfish, and other small food items that would otherwise fall through the larger openings of our other accessories or grill grates. Keep a spare one clean because it’s also perfect for grilling biscuits.

Constructed of the same high-quality, durable stainless steel as our grills, the Infrared Grill Tray uses infrared heat to keep your food moist and juicy. Its generous size allows you to grill an entire meal at once, allowing for yet another cooking option on your TEC Grill. It is perfect for recipes where you would normally sauté, stir-fry, or even bake/roast.

The Infrared Grill Tray is available for the Sterling Patio and Patio FR series of grills.

Tips for cooking on the Infrared Grill Tray

-Always preheat with the Infrared Grill Tray in place (either on top of the Smoker/Roaster, Gator Rack, or Infrared Pizza Oven Rack, or just on the grates), and with the hood closed.

-If using the Infrared Grill Tray on top of the Smoker/Roaster or the Gator Rack, do not place the drip tray under the rack.

-Use canola oil to promote browning and prevent sticking.

-Use your favorite rub or seasoning to add extra flavor to your foods while grilling.

-If you have a sauce to accompany your meat or vegetable dish, add it at the end. Remove the meat or vegetables from the grill, and toss it with the warm sauce.

-You can add mouthwatering smoky flavor by adding your favorite chips to the chip corral when using the Grill Tray on top of the Smoker/Roaster.
