People often say “my TEC Grill is great for searing a steak or a chicken breast, but I don’t know what else I can use it for?” We love getting these questions because it gives us an opportunity to talk about all of the things you can do with your TEC Infrared Grill! Here are 5 other ways you can use your TEC Grill for cooking just about anything:
1. Smoke and Slow Cook
Our patented infrared grilling system offers the highest AND the lowest grilling temperatures of any infrared grill today. In fact, our new Patio FR grill can go down to 200 degrees F, which is the perfect temperature to smoke or barbecue low and slow.
2. Use it as an Oven
From biscuits to brownies to pizza, you can bake just about anything on your TEC Grill. An oven thermometer comes in handy here, so you know exactly what temperature you are cooking at. You also might need to place your dish on the top rack or use indirect heat (if you have 2 burners) just to be sure you get that all around oven heat.
3. Use it as a Stovetop
Just place cookware right on top of the cooking grate. Because there are no hot or cold spots, you can use the entire cooking surface and control the temperature by a simple turn of the knob, just like your stove.
4. Steam
Pour marinades, beer, wine, or stock directly over your food. The liquid will sizzle and steam on the glass panels, steaming and basting your food with that irresistible natural outdoor grilled flavor. Not to mention that this is a super healthy and fast way to cook!
5. Griddle, Fryer, and Rotisserie
These optional accessories will provide even more functionality for your TEC Grill. The Griddle is fantastic if you like to stir-fry or make pancakes. The Fryer basket will make perfect fries to complement that burger. And the Rotisserie makes delicious moist and juicy poultry of all sizes.
